The Vaquita is the most endangered marine mammal in the world. Its population is estimated at only eight to nine individuals and it is critically endangered. For me, this was a strong reason to dedicate a piece to this species. I decided to model a Vaquita and include it in my scuba collection.

Creating the model was quite challenging, as there are no underwater recordings of Vaquitas. In close collaboration with several scientists, I refined the design step by step to make it as lifelike as possible. Afterwards, I worked out every detail until a faithful and finely crafted piece of jewelry emerged.

Each Vaquita pendant is handcrafted from solid sterling silver 925 in my workshop. Upon request, the Vaquita can also be made in other precious metals – I will gladly provide you with an individual offer.

Since 1995, I have been volunteering with the conservation organization YAQU PACHA, where we work intensively to protect and save the Vaquita.
