This small research submarine by DELTA OCEANOGRAPHICS operates in oceans all around the world. It has taken part in missions with Robert D. Ballard at the wreck of the Lusitania, in archaeological explorations in the Red Sea, and in expeditions searching for yet unknown species in the depths of the ocean. With a crew of two, it dives to depths of up to 365 meters and has completed more than 6,700 dives since 1983 — without a single failure.

This miniature of the DELTA, crafted as a high-quality and solid piece of jewelry, features almost all the details of the real submersible and is made with great care by hand. The model used as a reference for this pendant was created by Norbert Brüggen ( www.modelluboot.de ) and kindly provided by Carsten Heintze ( www.diveteq.com ).
