This is the juvenile form of the batfish (Platax ). Batfish change their shape in the course of their life. The fins become shorter and the body more massive with age.

The batfish juvenile pendant from the scuba collection by STEFAN WIESSMEYER - schmuck has a height (fin tip to fin tip) of 24 mm and, like all our jewellery, is handmade in our workshop. According to our philosophy our batfish pendants are made matt with shiny stripes to come as close as possible to the natural model.
